i just got all kinds of goodies out of a 2000 trailblazer i grabbed the bcm rke module and key fobs, will the bcm work in my 98 blazer ls. also is the multi function switch compatible i grabbed that too.got the highly sought after trailblazer seats and door panels too.

 

i am pleased to say yes it does after a passlock relearn, now i have working keyless entry

 

Good for you. note the parts desc on Rockauto says replacement works 1998-2000 but besides needing passlock relearn can cause driveability probs if not flashed to specific vehicle.

 

do you know what kind of driveability problems, i took it out for a little while earlier and didnt notice anything yet

 

No... like I said, the parts descr says CAN Cause....

If it works and you dont get a 'Bxxxx' code, all's good, right?
