will not start

Default will not start

HI ALL
IT IS A 1998 BLAZER 4X4 WITH A 4.3 LITER. CHANGE THE INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKETS. GETTING FUEL AND SPARK,BUT IT STILL WON'T START. THE ENGINE CHECK LITE IS ON, WHEN THE KEY IS IN THE ON POSTION. ANY SUGGESTION?

when you removed the distributor did you mark the rotor location before lifting out and at the end of lifting out...soundsl like it could be a timing issue. Did you rotate the engine in any way after removing the distributor???

hope this helps and by the way don't use all caps it is disrespectful to SHOUT!!!!!!

first of sorry for caps, secondly yes i install distributor the same way i removed it.

Its easy to get it off by a tooth or two.

Might help to line the crank up to TDC 0 and then check the rotor to cap relation.
