Default Window Down, Rain Coming. Please Help!!!!

OK, so I got home today and I went to roll up my windows. All the windows rolled up except for the drivers side. Checked the fuses. Everything is good there. I took the panel off and checked things out. When I push the switch the motor makes a slight click, but that is it. I also noticed that the motor itself is hot. Everything else works, all the other windows, the power mirrors the passenger lock out. This leads me to think it is the motor itself. How much would it cost me to get this fixed. Chances are I will bring it to the dealer as I have yet to find a decent small shop around here and everywhere I called right before they closed said they don't do that work. I really need to figure this out, because there is really NASTY weather coming this way hail, rain 60 MPH winds, etc..... Please help. I am off to Wal-mart for some plastic and duct tape in the meantime.

Edit . . .
OK, so I left to go get some plastic to cover my window. When I pulled out of the driveway I tested the window. It went up. So, I tried it a few more times just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. It still worked. Up and down 8-9 times, and I figured it was working again. When I was trouble shooting it I tried with the ignition in the on position the accesory position and while it was running. Could something have reset when I started it up and put it in drive????

Window motor is probably on it's way out , when it gets too hot it shuts down then when it cools off it works again ...
