Thought I had posted this last week, but it never showed up. So here goes again.
About every year or so my throttle has a tendency to stick if I press the gas pedal. A quick shot of Carb cleaner in the TBI with the engine running usually clears it up. So last week I loosened the breather (2000 4.3 v6) started the engine and took the breather off the TBI. The engine stalled within about 3 seconds after removal of the breather. Throttle was in closed position and there was a sound like a vacuum. It was more intense than you wound normally hear on a normal leak. There was no Vacuum noise before the breather was removed. I was able to squirt a little cleaner to get the throttle free, the the fact that it won't idle is bothering me. Any thoughts on this or has anyone come across this before?

Normal operation. When you disconnect the intake system from the throttle body, little to no air is being drawn through the MAF. MAF readings are critical to engine operation. Next time, disconnect the MAF sensor and then start the engine. It'll run that way!
