yet again another 4wd problem
allright heres the story. i went to cut wood and we drove the blazer back through the corn field. nothing crazy just nice and easy. when i left i put in 4wd. worked fine. done cutting wood and ready to head back to the house is when problems started. i went to pull out and the back tire was spinning. (i had it in 2wd). no worrys put it in 4hi. front axle engages and im able to get out. keep driving along and i notice the 4hi idicator light is still flashing. so i put it back in 2hi and the lights turns solid on the 2hi indicator and all is well. so my 4wd is working but the indicator light will not stop blinking. i got up underneath afterwards to see if a vac line disengage and i have not found any,(not saying rule out the possibility, but i didn't see any) i have a 2000 blazer LS. has has this been discussed before? i searched a little but didn't find exact symptoms.
thanks again for all help

new video of whats happening will be up shortly (its uploading and should be up after i get done with work after 5:30)
also the encoder motor was changed about 3 years ago. im leaning more towards the vac actuator failing. i read kyle's post on 4x4 common problems and it said it takes an extended time for the idicator light to come on. anyone know how to test the actuator or can point me in the right direction.

thanks guys lol. anyways i figured it out today once i got it on the lift. all the vac lines checked out A ok . looking at the front diff there is a sensor just about in the middle. it was slightly seperated from the harness. i re-snapped the connector on. took her for a test drive and she works great. must have been a corn stalk yanked it out
