I have a 2000 4dr blazer. I found a '94 ZR2 Rear end. Would like to install in my blazer because I have a set of C6 wheels and would like to install without wheel spacers. The issue is that this ZR2 rear end has drum brakes. I would like to know if my rear disc setup would bolt right on to the axle tube flanges of the ZR2 rear end? Would the driveshaft length change? Is the Pinion Yoke the same size for my U Joint? I have the smaller ring gear rear.

Is your blazer a 2wd or 4x4?
I only ask because a 4x4 rear diff is about 4in wider than a 2wd so the corvette wheels fit perfectly on a 4x4.
However a ZR2 rear is 4in wider than a 4x4 or 8in wider than a 2wd so the tires will stick out about 2in on each side with a ZR2 rear in a 2wd.
If your blazer is a 2wd, your best option is wheel spacers, or you can find a regular 4x4 rear diff then you only have to run spacers on the front.

My Blazer is 2 wheel Drive. The C6 Corvette base wheel is 19" x 10" with a +78mm offset. 3" spacers are req'd. for me to use this wheel in the rear. I read somewhere in this forum that a ZR2 rear end is 6" wider than the 2 wheel drive rear. If this is true ZR2 rear end would be the perfect width. If it is actually 8" wider then it would be too wide and I will renew my search for a 4 x 4 rear and use smaller spacers.
