Thanks for the instructions, I just did mine and it made your dirty pic look clean compared to mine. I don't know if it blew anything out when I plugged the vacum port and ran it, but it threw a check engine light for EGR malfunction I had to clear.

Should probably be noted that the CEL is normal if the EGR valve is not installed both affixed to the engine and connected electrically.

I have a 2002 4x4 2dr 4.3 blazer and the egr valve is not at the front of the engine,and i cannot find it,anybody know were it is

You don't have to worry about that. The mid-'02+ don't have a conventional EGR system.

I think I am going to do this and the MAF this weekend. Will the CEL light come automatically when I start it up withouth the EGR installed? If so how do you get the light to turn off?
