Job done. I printed out the directions for my wrencher-guy, which helped smooth the progress. Only tricky bit was getting over the concern about breaking or crimping one of the spider legs.

I replied to Les Myer thanking him, too, and asked if he knew where to find comprehensive online wiring diagrams. The Haynes' ones I have don't inspire much confidence.

As for wiring diagrams, the only source I know of would be the factory service manuals. I happen to have a copy; a three volume set I got of of eBay. You might find an electronic copy there.
