Finally getting around to(slowly) putting my tire carrier on. I pulled these out of the doner 2dr blazer, they are the pieces that the bolts go into that are behind the sheet metal, I'll see how it goes...

Seeing this makes me want to get mine done even more!!

 

So... I test fit the tire on last night. With the bottom of the tire 3" above the top of the bumper I can't see the top brake light unless I stand about 20' behind the Blazer. I'll lower it a couple inches, but my rear window will be almost completely useless.

 

That just means your tires are big enough lol.

 

That's why I'm leaving space between the tire and the bumper, I'm sure by the time the 35s are worn out, I'll want 37s.

 

yeah, with a 33 on that rack my back window is useless.

It doesn't look any smaller in person... I found that I can see cars in my rear view mirror through the holes in the wheel...yea, lots of visibility.
