Question 2002 ZR2 CD Changer Removal Issue

When I originally bought my blazer used the previous owner replaced the factory head unit with a aftermarket part but left in the cd changer. After that aftermarket head unit failed on me I purchased a factory head but the CD Changer appears to be broken. The CD Changer is in the center console of the blazer and only makes a very slight clicking sound when you press eject. I cannot figure out how to get the unit out of the center console. I can remove one of the screws holding it in there, but the other mystifies me as it is to far down and to close to the wall of the console.

Anyone got any experience or thoughts on how to pull this out and replace it? There looks to be an access hole to get to the screw but I do not particularly want to drill a hold in the back of the console to get to it.

Looks like you might have to remove the entire console to remove the changer.
