Default 98 Blazer: Converting Console cassette Deck into a Line In

Thinking about converting the console mounted (aux) tape deck into line in, with a 1/8" stereo jack.
I can assume the wiring is gonna be;
B+,
ground,
L&R out/in,
and a sence/power wire to tell the radio the deck is on.

also safe to assume there's gonna be several extra wires that the factory radio uses to ffd, rev, eject..that will become obsolete in the process.

A wire diagram for the tape deck would be very helpful... Thanks in advance.

Has anyone ever tried this?

Maybe I'm not following, but why not just buy an aftermarket radio with an aux jack, and an adapter harness for your truck. Seems way easier than trying to rewire it yourself
