thatd be the best bet. i mean my friend is running 1k watts to 1 R and it takes it like a champ. smell coils after abit but meh. it's worth it. lol

I've seen people run 1300 watts to a single R daily.



And of course people running 1 12" type R on a 2500D @ 1 ohm (2500 watts) which broke 150dB lol

i take it you guys are talkin about the new model? what do the older models take, cuz i will be like 200 watts over there rated power handling which is 300 watts when i get the hifonics

you should be fine. Subs can take over there RMS fine. Well depends on the company. I mean hell mine are rated at 300 and i frekin put 1700 to it daily! lol


just i wouldnt push the older model as hard. the new model with the crimped surround is ALOT more reactive and all. Helps it ALOT

shiiittttt if u get 2 dual 2 ohm

Find an amp that can run .5 daily


Hifonics XX-Hercules (not much experience with em at .5)
Orion 2500D (dont beat the living **** out of it and u should be good)



DONT GET AN ORION HCCA

Those amps are bad. Find a used 2500D

Mine MIGHT be up on the market soon. Just needs repairs

Older 2500D's are hard to come by but when u get em. they're amazing

with 2 dual 2 ohms he can drop that amp down to 2 ohms and feed each sub at least 500rms which is a good match. Do not run that amp anything lower than 2ohms.

thats amp at 2ohms will waaang those R's I'd suggest a good slot ported box for additional output.
