Okay, thanks hillbilly. I am actually not up at school right now but will be visiting in about a month so I'll check it out then. The price seems to be the same as they have the add posted on the chairlifts at the ski hill. I am not sure what all it includes. Its one of those you can start your car from here things. They seem like a reputable place too, from what I have seen. I'll let you know when I find out more. Thanks again.

Well after having so many problems with that autostart i took it back and made them take it out and give me back my money cuz i had gone there 4 times within 2 weeks and it still wasnt fixed. I think im going to go to best buy tomorrow. Hillbilly. would you suggest the Avital avistart 4000 over the Viper 160xvr? or vice versa.

ORIGINAL: 03blazer

They used a astroflex 5560, as a bypass.
never have i heard of that bypass. Never. But to answer your question, both are reliable, but only so far as the install.

really a toss up on those units. Both are made by Directed.

whatever you decide, make sure that whoever installs it uses one of these bypasses (GMBP, PLJX, 556LW, PLXR)
