I don't even use mine that much now that the cell coverage has gotten better around here. When I first got into CBs in the late 80s (yes I was a kid) it was the only way to contact people if you were out in the boondocks stuck now days chances are you have better luck calling somebody. I do have a group of friends that we all have them and ride so we can shoot the crap with each other without having to be on the phone all the time tho. It just kinda turned into a hobby for me.

Biohazard, been searching for better place to mount antenna on the 01 Blazer. Using a mag mount for my 29 NW, having trouble getting swr down for channels above 30. I have a mount and wilson that will fit, but I'd like to know where you put the ground on the body, and what gauge wire you used.

just a quick perhaps unrelated question,but would appreciate it if someone could perhaps help .could I attach my 94 blazer roof rack to my 95 blazer roof that came with none ? thanks for anything,jim

I've got mine mounted to the spare tire carrier. Dead-on center - 4" long puts the required 3/4 above the roof line. I "get-out" more than fine.
