I am currently installing an aftermarket cd player in my 1994 S10 Blazer but the cd player will not fit all the way into the dash, it sticks outabout a quarter of an inch. The only reason it does this is because of the A/C ducts. I was wondering if anyone knew away around this other than just cutting the duct. Thanks for the help.

 

Are you also using an installation kit to use with s10 blazers?

 

Same thing happened when i installed mine..

my problem was that the wiring harness is sticking between the unit and the back of the cd player wall...if you reach your hand back there and move the harness up and out of the way of the unit and any rca cables sticki8ng out, it should fit...i still had to jam it a little...not to ruff though...

but ive got a 96...not sure what the differences are...

 

yea i had a problem with my 98 blazer, like Big Frost said it could just be the wires, if thats not the problem make sure u areusing the correct install kit, and even sometimes certain cd players do not fit into some vehicals, make sure the cd player you have will fit in your blazer, you can just ask the people at best buy or look online.
