I wasnt admiting that blazers are better lol. I love my s10 and I prefer a truck over an SUV...although a blazer xtreme would be kinda cool too...with an LS1 engine and drag radials on the back....that would be sick.

My 99 didn't have any factory tweeter location that I saw. I did hide them in the dash where the 4x6's should have been I had a piece of heavy cardboard with a little clip for the factory harness. I cut a hole in that and used it to mount the tweeters behind the factory grill in the dash. It looks like what jagblazer has is an adaptor that will fit in the same 4x6 cutout on the dash, it's hard to tell exactly where that plate is going though.

If I had my choice I'd get an S10 over the Blazer but I need the back seats for the kids and the enclosed cargo area for the junk my wife insists on keeping in the car. If I had my choice of any compact truck I'm not too sure I'd pick an S10 though, my dad's Nissan, as ugly as it is, has well over 280k miles on it and he's never even changed the brake pads (99% highway miles.) I've put more money into repairs on my blazer in the last two months than he has in over 10 years of driving the nissan. For a 4 banger it's pretty quick too, no it won't haul a big boat, but it will outrun F150s because it's so light.
