i need help with my 1999 Bravada, im in the process of replacing all my speakers as the old one were shotty and crap sound. i bought 6 speakers 2 Boss Audio 4x6 speakers for dash and 4 6.5 inch for the doors. my problem is the new speakers wont go into the baffles because the damn window track is right behind anybody know what i can do? im not real good at making custom pieces to work but if somebody could point me in a direction of what others have purchased to fix the problem (i know im not the only one)

 

i added some pictures to help describe my problem the OEM one is by Bose and not as tall. the Boss one is 6.5 and i was told by every source on the internet thats what the OEM one is, but its not!!. when i put the new one in the window track is in the way of it going all the way in since its taller

 

Can you take a picture of the plastic bracket still on the door? I'm wondering if the Bose system uses a different mount than the non-Bose system. I have honestly never seen a S-series with a Bose system, and I work in an auto salvage yard :P

 

They should sell speaker adapters online if you search up your year and make, since you have the premium sound system (Bose)
