Default Driver's Door is DEAD

I have a 2004 Trailblazer and nothing on the driver's door works-power windows don't work, power door lock does not work, seat warmer does not work, doom lite does not work, ect. Anyone else had a problem like this and can tell me where to start looking?

Check the #2 fuse in the rear underseat fuse box. This is for the driver's door module.

If the fuse is good try spiking the driver's door module (DDM) simply turn on the ignition, pull the driver's switch plate out and disconnect and reconnect all of the connectors on the DDM. The switches are part of the DDM if you didn't know. If that doesn't work, you need to check for power and ground at the DDM connector and then the serial data circuit to the DDM. If it gets this far repost and I'll walk you through it.

After a couple of months of nothing working on the driver's door, I start it this morning to warm up for my wife and everything is working and I have done nothing to fix it. Why would it work sometimes and be dead at other times?

loose wires. pullout door swithc panel and check for good connections. then, check the door loom and make sure that everything is ok, not rubbing.

I spiked the ddm and it will work until I turn off and re-start. Could it be a bad ddm and if so, what is the best way to check it without buying a new one?

There is a plug on the front of the ddm marked "abcd" and the "d" port wire is red and has power to it. With it pluged in, I unpluged each connection and checked each port and nothing else has power to it. Could I have a bad ddm? Is there any sure way of checking without buying a new one?
