Has anyone ever used dynamat on there blazer my one friend has it in his explorer but i never heard it without the dynamat is it worth the money to buy the kit and does it make a big difference or noticeable
they claim it makes everything sound almost twice as loud but is it really worth all the effort to do the work

Try www.fatmat.com I swear by this stuff...just like dynomat, but a fraction of the price, and yes it does make a difference. 12 sq ft dynomat=$96...100 sq ft fatmat=$99

Yeah, dont get dynamat, its too expensive. i got fatmat in my blazer now and it works great. second skin is also another good deadener. you wont see a huge difference in spl unless you have at least a somewhat decent system. i wouldnt expect to hear any difference unless your sub amp is putting out over 500w

i never measured how deep it goes, but my comps fit in there with a lil room to spare. so if you look up MB Quart pce-216 and find the mounting depth, you have at least that much room. as for the fronts, i have the same comps in the front and they just barely fit in.
