front door spks

can 6.5 or 6 3/4 speaks be installed in the front doors 96 blazer 4dr without to much mods

I was able to fit an Alpine 6.5 in each front door, but I was only able to line up two of the screw holes. so yea, but they are normally 6 3/4 speakers.
