If you buy from Crutchfiield and are going to use the speaker wiring adapters make sure you get the female ones. They sent me male ones and the wiring harness had a make end.

In fact check as I may have a weird truck as I am coming to the belief that one of the previous owners was a meth head or he is/was just stupid.

I've already cut and spliced the speaker wiring anyway. My dumbass didn't know anything about the adapters when I bought this truck 4 years ago . Lol And what would make you believe that? Lol

I"m using a Pioneer HU with 4 Kenwood KFC-1666S 6 1/2" speakers (600w). They sound alot better than the originals. Whole package was under $100. They have all the range my 62 year old ears can pick up. LOL!
