Got a new HU... doesnt want to work.

if ur groung arcs when u hook it up then u wired it wrong... there is a short somewhere... and if u had it hooked up incorrect and tried turning it on u have a very good chance in frying the head unit... if there isn't a fuse in the back of the deck then u prolly blew it and if there is check that... i will try and get u all the wiring info for the power and speakers

The fuse in the back of the radio is NOT blown, for the 2nd time, and yes, I AM wiring it up correctly according to the wiring info available in this very sub-forum.

Maybe it's a faulty unit. Can you exchange it fir the same one?

Yeah, I can, but I won't be doing so. I'm going to buy a different (and $10 cheaper) HU that sounds better and does more stuff.
