Default how do i run new speakers into my stock head unit?

Can i upgrade my speakers in my blazer and keep my stock head unit?

I was going to buy a new Hu but id rather keep it stock. wear would the wiring go thru to reach the cd player console?

Same place the original wires are. You don't need to change any wiring. Just the speakers. You will need to take the connector off but other than that, they drop right in.

It connects the speaker to the wires at the back of the speaker. You will know when you have it apart.

There is probley a wire harness that conects the speaker wire to the speaker. You can cut it off and just wrap/solder the speaker wire to the speaker wire terminals or you can crimp a spade connector on the speaker wires that will connect it to the speaker terminals. It is like Zed said, just gain access to the speakers and replace them.

If you need a how to on removing the door panels to get to the fronts, just ask and I'll post the link up. Found a great one doing research for my friends dads 98 ZR2.
