Default I just want auxiliary!

I picked up a 2000 blazer a few weeks ago. I have the DELCO with cassette deck below. The aux button is shown as CD/AUX, but is there and auxiliary port in the back? Do I need RCA cables? I don't want to use and FM transmitter or any FM products. The cassette tape with the wire sucks. I also don't have the cash for a new HU, so I'd like to find a way around this. Has anyone ever hard wired their own RCAs into the audio wires of the cassette deck? If so how did you make it work. Or is there just another way that is a hell of a lot easier?
