Default I want to Lose The Cassette Player

I have a '00 LT Blazer that came with the cassette and CD. I have an after mkt cd player and I never use the cassette player in the center console. Has anyone else pulled the cassette player? If so what did u put in its place?

Thanks.

not a whole bunch you can put in there. I guess you could put in satellite radio unit, an equalizer, or switches for like foglights and others accessories like that.

Also if you wanted you could put in a small CB radio from like radio shack, I have seen that, an equalizer, or light switches there.

I wish i still had pictures of my buddy's 99 S-10 crew cab. He put a cb radio in there and and using fiberglass made it look like it was originally designedto be a part of the console (made smaller opening shaped for it and put in the texture and everything). Came out really nice but took him forever to do. Too bad he sold that truck too. I would have bought the console from him but it was tan and Dale is black on the inside.

The HU that I bought had an IPod adapter module that I set in that empty space. I just need to fabricate a piece to fill the hole with aslot for the wire to come through.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was kinda hoping that there was something prefabricated. I like the CB idea.
