I have a full Alpine system in my car. Head unit, 4 type R speakers and a single 12 inch type R sub with a 4 channel amp. My CD's play and my radio will play. If I change it to my iPod, it will show the song, artist, and all that stuff, but the song time doesn't change from 0:00. It isn't paused and it isn't muted. I don't know why it won't play. Someone help me out here.

 

My kenwood system did this with my friends ipod too, but when i plugged mine in it worked. So mabey it's your cord or connecter.
