Default Nearly got my sounds sorted

I have installed a Kenwood head unit with an external controller lead from the stacker port on the back for the i-pod.

Replaced the rear speakers with some 220W 3 ways and mounted a jensen 12" sub in the back running off a sony xplod 222W amp.

Ran all the wiring myself was a pain in the butt getting the amp power supply lead through the firewall but finally managed.

Just have to replace the front speakers now as one of the factory ones has developed a bit of a rattle.

So far the system cranks, makes the rear view mirror shake around a bit when the sub is cranking, I do have my eye on a pair of 12" fusions at work and a 1000W fusion amp but I don't think the rear hatch glass will handle it.

Any suggestions for new front speakers would be appreciated.............

as far as dash speakers, i put 3.5" clarion 2 ways in my old 98 Bravada then sold the truck and the speakers still work awesome.

in my current 97 Bravada Im running MTX rectangle tweets in the dash and just used the factory "bass blocker"

as far as doors,i run 3ways in all doors, and it sounds very good and thats just off the H/U power... If looking to pickup extra high notes and midbass id def. say dynamat the rear doors and such.. it makes a world of difference
