I got a 2002 blazer and i want to put an aftermarket sterio, but i was wondering how hard it would be and what parts i would need to install it.

not very hard at all. You will need three parts, these are all metra part numbers, 40GM-10 (antenna adaptor), 70-2003 (wiring harness), and 992003 (dash kit). One screw above steering column. two screws in knee bolster, drop it down. two or three screws on dash bezel exposed when dropping down bolster. couple screws holdin in factory HU. will want to snap off the part circled in this pic, will help your radio sit in dash all the way. well, i gave you the metra part number, 99-2003. I would suggest that you look around on crutchfield.com at their decks. Pioner, JVC, Eclipse, Alpine and such. look at pricing v. features. If you order form them, they give you the dash kit, ant adaptor and wiring harness for free!

The 99-2003 works but i have a 2002 and i used 99-3301. its nice cuz it has a pocket below the radio and you can mount stuff or store stuff in there. i think it works a little better. in this one you don't use the cage that comes around your radio. the bracket screws into the side of the radio.
