Default a question about stock head units.

are ALL the headunits bad? or would the bose equipped vehicles get a better one?

ive already gone ahead and replaced mine with a blue tooth capable pioneer unit (im not brand oriented when it comes to stereo, i look for option, then price, then sound.) haha kinda backwards i know.

but i do notice that with the sound settings on my new stereo it sounds WAAAY better than the stock unit.

so, are all the head units junk or are some decent enuff?

Anything aftermarket is going to sound better. I had the bose in mine and swapped just the deck with a Kenwood unit and the sound, even with the stock bose crappy speakers, is much better.

The bose in my 04 Trailblazer sounds ok, but it is nothing great either.
