Default Rear speakers

So I installed a new deck and front speakers because they were crapping out... My rear speakers have never worked... I went to replace them with a different stock pair and they still don't work.... Wondering if it would be a speaker problem or a wire problem.

Check the wires with a DMM to see if any current is reaching the speakers. If it is, Try a different pair.
