Default ssf w/ ported box

where do you guys set yours??

asking because I think mines set at around 10-15hz with a 32hz port, according to the calculator i used.

never totally understood the ssf please teach me

rule of thumb is you want to set it just below (5-10hz) the tuning of your box to prevent the sub from unloading.

I use to have mine set at 20hz but I come nowhere near the mechanical limits of my subs under tuning so I have it turned off. If I was running more power I'd turn it back on.
