Default Stereo fuse problem

I just got a new stereo and plugged in all the wires, nothing worked. I checked the fuses and both the battery/radio and the ignnition/radio fuses were blown. I replaced both, double checked the wiring, and tried again, the ignition/radio fuse blew again. I tried once more with the same result. Im not experience with audio systems and I hope this question is clear and easy to understand. I just need some suggestions.
