Default sub amp wiring

I'm going to install a powered sub in my KBlazer where the spare tire goes. What is the best way to run the 8ga. power wire? Above the door, under the sill plate or other options?

Thanks, Al.

how much power are you running? 8 gauge seems a bit small unless you are not running much power.

But, there are many places on the firewall that wont require you to drill a hole, you can run it through the gromet of another wire bunch. Then run it under the carpet.

It's just an old 80 watt bazooka. I guess under the carpet could be an option if I had carpet! LOL I'd rather go behind some trim but it looks like a hassle. Anyone done this? What am I in for?

Thanks, Al.
