Default Subwoofer enclouser questions

Ive got a a few questions about some sub boxes. I really like to have a little extra bass from my stereos, but I bought my Blazer for the cargo space. Where would you put a sub if you still want the extra bass of a subwoofer while not loosing any cargo space? I was thinking about makeing a box to wrap around the wheel hubs in the back. Has anyone done this before? I dont want a huge system just like I said I like a little extra bass, similar to that of a Mosoon system in the 4th gen F-bodies or the Bose in the Corvettes. So I dont really need some 15" Solo Barics or anythig like that. Im thinking just a 10" sub or maybe 2 8"s, something like that. Just something that doest take up a lot of space.

this has been discussed on here a few times, i think JL makes something that you can just buy and install. I know of some who have done fiberglass rear enclosure. Have to dig those pics up today.

yep, 'glass 2 8's or 10'sover the humps, would be pretty sweet.......and pricey...

or maybe 2 8's or those small E.D's in the back seat glove compartment do-dads, or modify the 6x9 locations and reinforce with mdf for some midbass speakers.........lots of potential options.......really just depends how deep you pocket is, and how much you want to modify.

just food for thought........

I doubt I'd have the skills to do it......not to mention tools.

I wanted to get door pods in my Z24 and they said $300 per door.......I'd imagine an enclosure would be more.....

It would probably sound not too shabby... You could always get one done up and put in, and if it's not good enough, get a second one.

Personally, I'm happy with my single 10"

bass is non-directional, it would sound fine, as longas the box is built properly, and solid.
