You can buy adapter plates to make them fot if you want a really snug fit. I personally just drilled new holes in the plastic mounts that are in the doors holding the stock speakers and it worked great... I puit 6.5" sony xplodes all the way around.

yeah im buying a deck too.. the whole reason im starting this project is because my current cd player wont play cds... when i picked my truck up todsy from thee mechanic i spent 15 minutes inserting the cd every time and it would come out saying error so i would insert it again and finally after 50 tries it worked.. so i decided to do everything

after looking at best buy no decks are compatiable with this truck

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Alpine+-...&skuId=9176198

i like this one anyone have it? i ask because since theres such a limited number of compatible cd decks i picture this one being a common one used in our blazers.. anyone have it?

I am running a panasonic deck...What do you mean not compatable?? aside from the deck being to deep I dont see any other reason that any deck wouldnt work and even then some of the dash kits you can buy actually extends the deck out a little further....

Use crutchfield.com. By far the best, they will send you the install equipment free and their tech support and prices are the best.
