your 4x6's

i def need to upgrade my 2003 blazers 4x6 dash speakers and i was wondering which ones to get since crutchfield says none fit. so which ones should i get im open to any brand and im looking for a price in between 75 and 100 give or take a few... thanks!!!!!!

It says they dont fit because they dont. You have to cut the backside of the speaker cover to get a 4x6 to fit.
I put in some Sony Xplods that I had laying around...but if I were doing it again, Id spend some money and get a plate speaker like:

Got $100?
Although I think the audio guys will tell you that the dash is not a good place to have a speaker at all for sound quality

On my 1st gen i have Pioneer 4X6 Plate speakers and they fit just fine.

then again not everyone cares about "sq" to that extent.......i have plates and they sound fine.....

A plate speaker is not a 4x6 speaker. 4x6 speakers do not fit because of the ridge around the speaker. It hits the lip on the underside of the grille. A plate speaker does not have this ridge, and therefore fits fine.
Edit: And sound quality or not, your dash speakers are going to over power the door speakers at higher volumes. The sound comes right off the windshield at you, where as the un-directed door speakers are at your legs. I don't pride myself on SQ, so I enjoy having my 4x6s, but they definitely cannot compete with my Polk dBs in the door once it gets turned up.
