The bronco didn't come stock with dana 44s ? I know they changed the drive train in 1987 but I was thinking they where still 44s . I could have made the alernator work off the s10 but I would have had to change the front pully to a v belt . I gave the alternator and bell housing bolts to my buddie who is also building a bad s10 , It's a 1988 s10 pickup , tiny little 2wd . And it has a very built 350 high nickel block , it has been a drag truck for years . This little s10 was the fastest trucks around here for quite sometime . I'll get some pictures of my friends trucks , my sister just bought a 1953 chevy on a one ton chevy 4x4 frame , and my friend Eddie has 3 sweet trucks one with 18 inches of lift one with 12 and a stock 79 chevy 1 ton mint . And I get a picture from Jays s10 drag truck .

Getting cabin fever , tomorrow its going to be above freezing , so I'l be out playing around with the blazer . I have so much welding to do , but at least welding gives off alittle heat . And I want to start fabricating the diamond plate fire wall and shift lever perch . I'm looking forward to getting back to work on the old girl , what a fun project , so far . Gio I have a visor like yours that I still have to put on . Do you like your visor ? I'll try and get some pictures tomorrow with and without mine , if I have time .

I would love to join your 1st generation group , how do I do It . I am working on the blazer today and I found the wire I was Missing , It was hidden behind the battery by the head light . Its a positive wire and it goes directly to a connection on the fire wall . I just came in to get new batteries for the camara , but I had to post about the wiring its really been bothering me .

Headers and visor , not using these headers though

Visor almost the same color as my blazer .

Wire to battery now I have power into the truck

Pass side view

rear view

This sticker had the police pretty ticked off at me , I didn't no the wife wiped it off , it was the cleanest thing on the truck .

I love the stance of this blazer , I can't wait till solid axles are onder there .

Starter in vehicle

This is looking straight down over the fender wall , the tyre sticks out quite aways

When we were pulling the exhaust off the 302 it was so rusty I told my buddy to just cut them off and I was going to just bye new heads . They were so rusty the plugs broke off inside the head . But anyway , My buddy was cutting on the passenger side of the motor and I got out my new impact driver kit I just bought from matco , put a socket on it and started wacking on the exhaust bolts and beleive it or not I got everyone one my side , my buddy already cut two bolts on his side but I got the other four . And then we even managed to get the plugs out , so I just went and bought a thread chaser and saved the heads . That impact driver is one of my favorite tools . The visor looks awesome on the blazer , makes it look kinda taller . And The camara was fine , I just put brand new batteries in it and they went dead after three pictures .
