This project has sat for a long time and I was lucky to get a day to work on it once every 2-3 months. I finally said F&@$ it and put every thing else on hold.
I'll post stages of progress later but thought I'd share it's current state. I am now driving it and falling in love all over again.
Did you ever get this figured out? I used a Russell adapter fitting at the master cylinder end, then used a -3 braided hose to the slave cylinder. I have an aftermarket slave cylinder, though. I'm not sure if there's any way to adapt the braided hose to your stock slave cylinder.
I actually did figure it out. I ordered a stock 1998 S10 line and then cut it apart. I then took the fittings that came out or either end and pressed them into a ssb hose with teflon core. It was a nice tight fit and I finished it with a couple of crimp clamps.
I'm half way through building a rear bumper for it. Decided to go with 1/8 steel plate and spent half a day cutting out various shapes from cardboard until i liked the look then transferred them to the steel. At the moment it's just tacked together just in case I want to change the design.
