Started lapping in the valves today in my 243 heads. I also replace valve stem seals and added the GM performance valve springs that go with the LS6 cam.

The drive by wire gas pedal is done. I modified the one that came from the 03 Yukon when I bought the 5.3L. I used the original S10 pedal and merged it with the Yukon. Test fit.

My block is back from the machine shop. I painted it GM satin black and I put the LS6 cam in with Melling timing chain guide. Corvette LS6 2002-04 12565308

Pistons and rings are gapped for nitrous rods torqued with ARP bolts. I checked the Piston to deck clearance it changed my compression ratio to 10.6.1 I was shooting for 10.5.1 but I guess it's better to have a little over than under. Oil pumps in pickup is installed with ict billet hold down where it has two bolts.
