It's going to be a daily driver but occasional track and next year going to take it on race week have a little fun.

I painted my valve covers with 2 coats Wrinkle Plus Black and with 2 coats semi-gloss clear coat. Only thing I'm missing is the PCV grommet for some reason it didn't come in the gasket overhaul kit I purchased 😕. Working on the valley covered next it's also going to be Wrinkle Plus Black with clear coat. The valve covers were baked for 3 hours at 280° to seal the paint nice and tight to the valve cover.

I install the harmonic balancer and water pump and I'm just test fitting the AC pump and exhaust manifolds. Did running to one issue on the driver side of the oil pan the fourth bolt from the front was not drilled on my block. Had to drill and tap. Anybody else run across this issue with the GM muscle oil pan? You can see it in the picture where the bolt is missing from the oil pan.

Me too. I wanted to get pre-start compression test number then after first heat cycle then after first week of driving that way I have a baseline for compression down the road.
