So are you going for a "smooth" looking ride? If so I seen someone on here painted their mudflaps to match their vehicle and it looked pretty good. Just throwing out an idea for you.

Those flaps I have probably won't stay. They're actually meant for an 04 trailblazer but were in my garage so I figured why not? Let's see what they look like. And, I might be getting new wheels this weekend, i've done business with this guy before and he's not the most reliable. We'll see what happens.

I only have front flaps because we all know how the rockers like to rot on the Blazers when they get sandblasted.

I like the clean look of the roof-rack shave... but I find something's missing at the same time lmao.

I know what you mean, i'm going to be repainting the rack this coming week because the paint flaked in a few spots down to nothing so it needs some attention. After i lower it i'll see if i like the clean look or the "rugged" roof rack haha

well, after taking my sweet time, i finally started working on my roof rack rails. these are the side rails not the centers. my little cousin asked me that today so...

I'm not going to sand them completely down, i just started using 100 grit (what i had laying around) and it took a bunch of the paint off so i'm just working my way till smooth.

What i started with

little sanding

lot of sanding

I did this from about 8-dark which was about 2 hours ago. i plan on primering them tomorrow and then seeing how much more work i need to do on them. They're going to be painted a flat black to basically match stock

So its been too humid out here lately to do any kind of painting so i figured lets take some random pictures that i'm too lazy to resize for my garage photos right now.

Looking good, I want to remove my roof rack eventually but don't know what to do about the holes. Guess I'll just have to wait until I can afford to get the body work fixed.
