Well, I guess it could be possible that it was installed at the factory. The 2004 & 2005 model years were the house cleaning years that were originally sold into fleet channels...

is it possible that GM was just too lazy to change the molds for the panels after discontinuing the TrailBlazer trim?

ok, i know it was the "we're killing this car, who gives a crap" when my dad bought it, but still.... come on GM, this just asks for the GM haters to start yapping

and, if GM came out with another 2 door SUV, i'd buy it in a heart beat... i guess we gave up fighting the Jeep standards

If there was no distinguishable outside difference, what would it matter??

I don't see a big deal... Door panels/cards (lol) for 2drs and 4drs are identical minus the switch plate...

That being said, I don't see an issue...

its just a personal thing, its like this......

you buy a new car, its brand new, but when you look closer, you have items like seats, doors, and other little things that were made 4 years ago. its a new car though, shouldn't everything be new?

like i said, it just bugged me a little bit but i'm still happy with my blazer. it also helps out because now i know there is no difference in the 2nd gen doors or anything else (minus the shifters)

but if it's never been sold beore, it's still new, so what's the difference if it was sitting in a box on a shelf?

besides, do you have any idea what we pay for NOS items when restoring our classics?

if you didn't know, NOS stands for New Old Stock

i understand. it was just a surprise i wasn't expecting. i wasn't having the greatest day. i cut myself bad while working on all this and i needed to blow off steam some how. i'm sorry about it guys.

Anyways, i'm waiting for more speaker wire to come in, my mail man left the box at the post office and i'll get it monday, so i'll have it down by the Michigan GTG, stock locations but better sound stage. i'll take pictures when i finish it up
