So, i've been in Virginia for the last week and have been doing a lot of house work at my brother's lately. This is the 16ft by 20ft home theater we built including frame work, insulation and double layering the walls. i only snapped two pictures because we were just trying to get it done.

this was layer one done with a layer of silen seal caulk in every, and i mean every, seam

this is the second layer done. all thats left is to have a pro come mud and tape the cracks.

tomorrow we are supposed to start work on his avalanche which includes installing (of course right?)
JL HD amps
JL 13tw5 subs x2 in custom mid gate box
Focal K2 3 ways in front
Focal K2 2 way in rear
Pioneer Avic-Z110BT
dual battery set up and all the sound deadener....

after that we're supposedly going to get to wiring up my truck, building a sub box and amp rack. although i'm still not sure on what subs haha

So.... another wonderful day spend sitting on my hands come wednesday

and in case no one put 2 and 2 together. this is my trunk these days

prior to top piece and some vinyl.

some vinyl, need to finish a bottom trim piece and buy more material for the sub box

You do not have the spare tire under the back, so do you have any space located there? You could saw it out and mount the amps lower and open up some room if possible....

my gas tank is right there will. i looked. i had to be careful when i bolted the box down. its in there for good unless i break the top half of the amp rack under the sub. i have 4 bolts in there that i forgot to take pictures of. 2 through the stock tie down tabs and 2 that went straight through the floor to bolts i did by hand. no welder in my whole family so.... hand tightening FTW
