Default 90 Blazer, Can you convert power rear

window to manual?

Cable is bad, cheapest is 74 bucks, hard to climb in to the inside every time i need in!

im confused. you asking about the locks or windows?

if youre talking about a fullsize k5 blazer. yes you can. can do the same for the doors too just have to change out the regulator and get the manual crank for it. which is probably going to cost you way more then the cable unless you have the stuff laying around

Yes, the windows.

Sorry if not in the correct forum.

The cable and switch are bad. Trying to weigh the options. Cable twisted off, and switch only goes one direction with key or dash switch.

Right now I have disconnected the gear drive and removed it so the window can go down and the tailgate raises and lowers, but then again I'd love to have the rear window working

the few k5s ive owned over the years thats what i did was just pitch out all the elctric crap and installed the manual crank. it never failed you just need a little elbow grease everytime you want to crank it up and down

maybe you can get lucky and find a tailgate in a junkyard but doubt it. i never even found those 10 years ago when i used to look for parts at junkyards for these trucks
