Default 95 to 96 engine swap

i was wonderin if anyone has any info on how hard it would be to swap the motor from a 96 jimmy into a 95 blazer? thanks anything would help

Much more trouble than it would be worth. The block could be swapped, but the heads on up are different on the 95 engine. To do a complete swap, you would need to change over the wiring harness, PCM, etc. They are two very different induction & injection systems.

so it wouldnt be worth doin? cause i really need the truck asap and on a small budget. the 96 is the only motor i could find for cheap
