I say dont spend money on wheels because youre going SFA unless you plan on dana 30/8.8 and wheel adaptors, but if you dont plan on those axles, i say dont waste the money.

mine looks pretty much the same way. i used the factory astro van pitman arm and just had it machined to fit the tie rod ends i was using.

i used to run 33 12.50 all terrains on a stock s10 set up and the cv joints just wont hold up. everytime i had to turn the wheel more then like 180 degrees they would grenade.

now my s10 has 10bolt chevy axles, welded rear axle and 33 14.00 boggers and still using the same axles with no breakage. just normal wear and tear

if you want to daily drive and occasionally offroad that thing maybe a body lift and some skinny 31s

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Work has been crazy and I'm only home on the weekends. But I did get my d44s from a 97 rodeo and a 87 grand waggy. My uncle has the axles right now and he is gonna paint, and rebuild them for me. I got the parts order for the axles too.
I'm goin with
Motive Gear Axle shafts
Yukon Gear 4.30 ring and pinion
Detroit Lockers

I know I haven't been on for awhile but I've been dealing with stuff with some family stuff. But good news is that the axles are done and painted. But I'm not gonna do the swap just yet cause I don't have another vehicle to drive while the blazer will be down. I haven't done much to the blazer other then put led lights in my domes and map lights.

To do list for this summer
Finish LEDs inside
Fix my 4wd
Redo my stereo system
Fix my radio antenna
Put a new grille in

Sorry that I haven't updated for awhile. Im not doing SFA anymore cause my sister is going to be using my blazer and she won't be able to get in it. I'm keeping the axles tho for a future project. I'm going to build a slightly lifted daily on 31s the I can take through the easy trails at my buddy's farm and the offroad park near me.

I figured I'd make a new to do list.

To do

Pumpkin 6.2 double din hu
Alpine type r 10" sub (not sure on amp)
New grille, bumper, valance fenders and hood
Fix rust
Zr2 axle and iron diff with 3.73 gears
Manual 4wd (almost done)
New wheels (not sure what kind)
Tint
Exhaust
Change shackles
Body lift
Led light bar

Already done
Crank tbars and shackles
Tb mod
Quad beam mod

Some pics

Did some flexin on an old ramp at my parents house.

Some inside pics. Yes I know I need to clean it! It sucks working for a logging company I can never keep the floorboards clean.

I got off work last night and when I was backing up I didn't see a stump and bam.

If you're still wanting to make bumpers you can check out my build thread for a very simple front bumper design. It's held up very well for me so far. https://blazerforum.com/forum/builds...r-build-80458/

Thanks Zach. I'm not sure if I wanna build bumpers now or not. My build took a different direction. I'll keep it in mind though.

I picked me some bravada hvca ***** and grand Prix gauge needles today at work hopefully I get them on this weekend.
