Worked on the flares again tonight, got A LOT more accomplished tonight then over the last few days. So happy I grabbed the plug in cutter. Plus at the end of the night, I noticed that the saw blade was on backwards

Tomorrow I will hopefully remember the strips from work, I'll be using them to make the brackets necessary to hold the flares. After that, I will be adding some spray foam to fill in the voids, bondo to cover the exposed areas, and then it will be prep for paint and install. I keep telling the wife that they won't be on before winter, but the pace I'm moving now, it might be, especially if I take it to work to sand and paint.

Grabbed the galvanized steel strips from work today, was able to mock up some brackets for the flares. I have the drivers side complete, might work on the passenger side tomorrow, weather pending.
Cutting out bottom bracket. Drilling hole in top one and adding a bolt.
Two brackets at the top. Riveting to fender lip.
Fender bolt on side bracket, screw on the bottom where the c clamp is.
Bracket locations, bent them by hand, sturdy enough they wont moved onve riveted to the door. Will also spray foam void.
Rear flare will be riveted to factory fender lip. It lines up nicely after the door is cut out. There are no brackers needed for this one.

Front driver is ready for install... drilling the hole for the bumper flare in the morning. Mounted and trimmed the brackets on the front. Used gorilla duct tape and gorilla double sided tape for up to 30 lbs, and I also riveted the bracket to the fender.
There will be a rivet above, and below the vise grip. As well as the bolt i will be putting through the factroy bracket on the bumper flare.
