All sorts of oddities with the Canadian market blazers eh?
the gauge cluster is so close to being "normal" but just weird enough to make you uncomfortable

I see nothing wrong with it other then the security light being on all the time hence the tape. I got the same tape over the air bag light sometimes comes on

Compared to a USDM Blazer the Fuelgauge, oil pressure gauge, ECT gauge, and the cluster lights are in different scales or shapes all together, i.e the SES light being a more typical/generic Engine icon.

New to me tires. Paid 120, I'm going to return the rims to the old lady, I feel bad for paying so little and I cant use the rims. 1 tire has some side gashes tho so I only got 3. I found 2 more north of here, same brand and size, seeing if he will take 100, hes asking 120. And if that happens, I need to find 1 rim for my spare and I will have 5 matching tires lol.

A little trimming may be required

3 out of 4 for 120 isnt bad

Lots of life

So it sounds like a bearing went in the blazer. Oil pressure is all over the place and drops to almost nothing at idle, banging from rear of engine. Higher rpms bring on louder and more frequent bangs, but driving at 1700 rpm makes it quieter but still bangs. And I got a nice metallic look in my oil now with shaving stuck to the bottom of the stick.

not easy driving home while keeping rpms under 2000... took 3.5 hrs to get home from an hr away...

Ouch! Sorry to hear. I lost reverse in my Jimmy. Still driving it though, just have to remember not to park where I will have to back out lol.
