until seeing your all aluminum ones I didn’t even know they had skids that went that far back! Mine has none but I’m hunting them now! I think I stick to the aluminum tho don’t want to weigh her down to much. And I’ve got no template to build them off.

These arrived at the store for me yesterday, had to go today as I wouldn't of made it yesterday.

Front and rear n3 shocks upgraded from the blown n2s from the lift kit. And a set of boots for all 4 of them.

I decided on black just because of the white and black. And when/if I paint it blue, it'll still go with it.

Fronts were easy, rear weren't as easy. Tried applying soap to the shock to slide on from the bottom, but the boots too hole is too small for that. So I went with this option:

Pushed the pin to one side

Massaged boot slowly over it to not tear the boot. Way easier then i thought it would be

All clamped and ready to go. Hope the rain stops sometime

That’s exactly how I got the boots on my rear shocks as well

Replaced rear shocks. Had to remove factory bolt clips that were on the frame, had to cut 1 bolt on each side, and passenger side just sounds on the 2nd bolt. Used heavy duty bolts and lock nuts. Also notice a bad filler neck and vent tube. Luckily it's at thw top and not close to thw tank.

2 hrs later, i think i found the problem...

Old n2's are shot. N3s came good to go minus boots lol. Very happy with thw way they sealed around the "slidder sleave?"

The rubber goes around the sleave as well

Looking ugly with all the surface rust. But shes still solid!

Fronts will be done next weekend or before if I'm not too busy at work.
