Baby Semi Build
I got that encoder motor from the pull it yard last year I thought it was the problem SO i had 2 good ones.. I just tore into the one i got at the pull it yard.
So worth it. It made the job easier already
Today was a good day. I split the bar in 1/2 so It would be smaller and easier to weld onto my encoder fork.
I made the hole in the floor and installed the home made shifter to test it out. Still not finished.
Here are some pictures.

My front axle quit locking sadly I think I punctured the hole in a hose when I drilled thru the floor.... Stupid me I should of removed them...
Tomorrows an other day. Im beat
Still need to fix some bugs for the hole and finish welding the shifter.
I also wanna install a shifter *** and get a decal made for the ranges . Lets see what i accomplish tomorrow.

Update
Fixed all the minor bugs and I found out why my front diff was not locking. The vac switch got damaged some how. Not sure how but I must of banged it or something.
Any ways for the diffy lock im not doing a vac switch system anymore. Also Im not going to do the posi lock system. Im hooking up my front differential to a switch.
Ill add more info when i get to this. I need to gather some parts 1st.
Here are some pictures of the shift arm. Its currently painted im waiting for the paint to settle.

More pictures tonight
also Sorry for the sloppy welds I haven't used the welder in a while. I actually melted the encoder fork.

Well I guess Im not doing the diffy locker with a switch any more.. I Found the issue why my front end was not locking..
On an other note Every thing works Really good. IM about finished with the whole manual system . Just need to fix the issue with the vac switch. In the future I plan on putting a rubber grommet like a manual tranny has or a brush system to cover the cut in the carpet. I will see over time.

This is the issue with my vacuum switch... The connector where the hoses hook up too was broken.. I must of damaged it when working on the encoder motor or something.

I cant find this part any where..... My only hope is a junk yard I think.
